Student Wellness Policy
Huntington Beach City School District recognizes the link between student health and learning and desires to provide a comprehensive program promoting healthy eating and physical activity for our students.
HBCSD supports student wellness through health education, physical education and activity, health services, food services, psychological and counseling services, and a safe and healthy school environment.
Board Policy 5030: Student Wellness
BP 5030 focuses on student wellness and our approach to creating an environment of wellness within our schools and community.
Triennial Assessment
The Triennial Assessment of our School Wellness Policy evaluates the District’s adherence to BP 5030 and the progress achieved towards the policy’s goals.
